I know that this is an old video, but I remembered watching your video three years ago and wanted to share my experience now that I have a Manduka Eko mat. I don't practice Hot Yoga, but I just always had the problem of my hands sliding away, especially in downward facing dog. So while a Yoga Towel helped a bit, the Manduka Eko is just unbeatable when it comes to non-slip. Finally I'm able to not slip when doing downward facing dog and I progressed so much just because of being able to adjust my poses in such a good way.

Well, I have this mat for 4 weeks and it became so sticky that I cannot practice with it anymore 🙁 not worth it

I bought this mat after hearing such a great review from you but I am super disappointed because it is very slippery during hot yoga. I have used my mat four times and I am still sliding all over the place. Any suggestions?

Is the eko and eko lite the same kind of mat (same grip), but eko lite is just smaller and thinner?

Woohoo!! That's my everyday mat and I love it! Took me awhile to get past the rubber smell, but now it's totally gone and I love this mat! Glad you agree 🙂
