    This is my favorite video of Kino. I love that is shows her working the practice. No voice over, no make up, no signature bandeau, just a serious yogi doing a serious practice. That is the joy, the beauty, the work of yoga. Daily practice and all is coming.

    kino , i know a man should never ask a lady how old she is !! but i'd like to know how old you were when you started yoga , and how old are you now ?? p.s. you should use strangers in the night by frank sinatra , thats what i have on my mp3 player when i go hiking , and dream of you , my lady !!

    Everyone on youtube talks about the hip. I have no problem with half lotus, but am unable to bind my hands behind. Marichyasana A and the modification are no challenge for me. Could you say something about what to do with the shoulders and arms?

    Hi Kino, what should i feel in this position? Non of my part are streching.., it's just a laying for me for 5-5 breaths and i feel it useless.

    i have open hips. i cant grab my hands in the back because mu shoulder hurt. please recommen some stretching for the shoulders in order to be ables to grab my hands in this pose. thank you god bless you

    Aloha Kino, does the hip come up off the floor on the side in which the knee is bent I to the body? Or do you want both hips on the floor? Thank you for your dedication to teach, you are a gem!

    I think so, as your backbone should go up, but I'm not expert…
    Well the ribs should fit and adjust to the body, that usually lifts them, but not exactly the goal is lifting 'em up..

    My foot lifts up, I'd use some advice… For example if I do lotus with the left foot, the right can't stand nicely on the ground and lifts up. (I don't reach my knee with the chin yet, maybe I do this lift while I try to)
    How should I correct this? right now I'm back to the beginner variation…

    Are the lower ribs supposed to go up and over the half-lotus foot or not? This pose is uncomfortable for me because of that one aspect.
