    I DONT EAT PROCESSED FOOD but yesterday my neighbor bought me an ice cream, so I ate it being polite. EVERYTHING HURTS.

    Honestly, this was the hardest day so far cos every joint is stiff, every muscle hurts… I had forgotten how BAD I felt every day when eating processed food.

    Fantastic. Didn't think I could really do this but it's an incredible experience. I was sceptical of anything spiritual or in the category of 'self-help' but I am a convert thanks to Adriene! I am struggling to cope with so many neighbours dogs who bark in the neighbourhood and are not cared for but the sessions are helping me find balance … slowly, slowly ….. thanks Adriene

    Day 19: Yoga with Adriene – Breath & Body Practice. Dont really have too much to say about todays session. I came into it all tense, and distracted, and frustrated with my day. I held onto that throughout the practice I feel. But then I got to the end when it was time to roll up my mat and I found that I didnt want to at all. I kept all that negative shit, but I also wound up relaxing and enjoying the practice at some point. Also the tops of my thighs really hurt throughout the whole time we were sitting cross legged. Just means more stretching and practice. Idk weird day for me. Thank you Adriene! Namaste.

    When Adriene said, at the end, “or you can do another 30 second plank” I said, out loud, “we held plank for 30 seconds!?” And I looked back at the video, and, sure enough, I actually held it for 40. That is crazy, as I never thought I would be able to do that! Thank you for this series, and I look forward to more revelations such as this.

    After a long day at work, I almost didn't want to do Day 19. (almost lost my streak!) But I'm so glad I did! It felt like a very relaxing massage for the soul <3

Try this 10-minute yoga sequence for emotional release and healing to feel better fast. It’s a gentle yoga flow for surrender and inner peace.


When things get a little overwhelming for me, I like to get on my mat and do a gentle full-body stretch like this sequence. It helps me work all of my emotions out through my body, releasing any tension, anxiety, frustration, or pain. There is something so healing and symbolic of each of the yoga postures in this yoga class. We begin in child’s pose, a pose of reverence and surrender. Then we stretch the spine and neck with some dynamic stretches in cat/cow pose.

I love this yoga sequence because it doesn’t take that long to feel grounded and centered. It’s like a moving meditation with deep breathing and I come to this flow when I need to find a little inner peace. I hope that you find an emotional release in this yoga class with me.
