    Its a great workout for my abs but I have  a question. WIll it reduce my belly? I have quite a belly and I am looking to reduce it or burn the belly fat. So will this routine help me or will it only strengthen abs and that's all? Thanks.

    hatha yoga traditionally refers to the physical aspects of the larger system of yoga (including asanas/postures and pranyama/breathing). hatha yoga is technically an umbrella term (including vinyasa, power, etc.), although generally when the term is used it refers to a slower moving practice, where postures generally do not "flow" into each other. power yoga is quicker paced, flowing and aiming to increase heart rate. it often incorporates strength moves such as push ups and sit ups.

    Your moves are powerful and effective, but beginners should not be lifting their heads off the mat until they understand how to access their core strength; otherwise, they will strain and work from their neck spine. Beginners can modify more difficult moves using bent knees instead of straight legs.

    Try doing the exercises without lifting your head so high. You may be straining in your neck to get your head up, but not using the core. See if you can still feel your core working even without lifting your head at all. Let me know how it goes!
